Architectural Engineering

Within the first few years following graduation from the five year Architectural Engineering program at Kansas State University, most graduates are expected to be working as a professional in an area closely related to architectural engineering, pursuing licensure, and advancing professionally with confidence and experience in one or more of the architectural engineering disciplines of structural, mechanical, electrical, or construction.  A small number of graduates may choose to pursue additional educational opportunities or advanced degrees.

ABET, Inc., is the recognized accreditor for college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. Among the most respected accreditation organizations in the U.S., ABET has provided leadership and quality assurance in higher education for over 75 years.

ABET accredits over 3,100 programs at more than 600 colleges and universities worldwide.

 

 

Construction Science and Management

Within the first few years following graduation from the four year Construction Science and Management program at Kansas State University, graduates are expected to be working as a professional in an area closely related to construction, contributing to the success of their employer, pursuing professional development, and advancing professionally with confidence and experience in the construction industry.

The mission of the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) is to be a leading global advocate of quality construction education programs and to promote, support, and accredit quality construction education programs. Through promotion and continued improvement of postsecondary construction education, ACCE accredits construction education programs in colleges and universities that request its evaluation and meet its standards and criteria. ACCE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as the accrediting agency for Baccalaureate and Associate Degree programs in construction, construction science, construction management and construction technology located in North America and Australia.
